Papermaking is a highly interesting and educational process. Several paper companies invite visitors to tour their facilities. Comfortable clothing such as slacks and flat or low-heeled shoes are recommended for ladies.  Cameras are generally prohibited in manufacturing areas.  Listed below are some facilities that offer public tours.

Free guided tours of NewPage's No. 16 paper machine on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 10 a.m., year-round. Includes an optional tour of the sheeting operations.  Special tours by appointment. Closed-toed shoes required. Children must be 5 years or older and accompanied by adults.
