The paper industry saves enough energy in one year to heat and light the homes of Madison and Dane County, or those in the Wisconsin River Valley from Wisconsin Dells to Eagle River.

The paper industry in Wisconsin is demonstrating leadership in energy usage by utilizing alternative fuels in their processes and helping to conserve our natural resources.

Wisconsin's paper companies help sustain a favorable balance by planting more than eight million seedlings annually and using productive management techniques to encourage natural regeneration on thousands of other acres.
